I guess what no one has ever said before to some of you fellows, is that the age old saying of "you pay for it one way or the other" is simply a play on words, the fact is I don't believe any of us sit around thinking hey if I buy this for my gf she will have sex with me....No its not the exact same as handing over cash...not until things go south.

Tell you what ask any of your friends or co workers who have been divorced if they feel they "paid for it" most will tell you I paid big time.

It is only when everything is said and done that one would feel they paid for it, while a relationship is still going on and is strong of coarse you would not feel this way...most sappy bastards would proclaim "I bought this because I love you" Ok lover boy how long would you remain in a relationship without having sex??

What is more acurate to say, directly or indirectly you pay for it, even if the form of payment is the time you invest, payment is the consumption of a resource, therfore the basic statement is true...you pay one way or the other.

Just remeber the four noble truths, I call them living by the 4 f's

i was out with one of my friends few weeks ago and we had discussion aobut the same topic but different subject.

I was going to buy a small plane and he said to me. If it flies, floats and f*cks, its cheapers to rent it and believe me he has done all of that and more.

After i talk to him for 30mins, i decided not to purchase the twin engine plane that i had my eyes on.

If you ask me if i make my decision based on my friends opinion, i would say no but I would listen to people with their experience and make the decision based on my thoughts.

I believe we all know what we are getting into when we start the relationship. If it works out, it was never based on money or sex but if it doesn't work out. It would be very costly mistake. And we regret for very long time and we try to find the reasons and blame the other party.

However our lives are not anyone elses concern and there is no right or wrong way of living as long as we do not bother others in process. If someone makes live their lives vacationing in Phuket for rest of their life(how nice that woudl be), let them and dont criticise them for their decision....
