C&N Hotel Patong is right next to all the action, cheap and not only girl friendly but helpful - make the girls sign a book and hold there thai ID untill the next morning when you go down with them and Sun Hill Patong offers some massive rooms, very clean, only 1min tuk tuk or bike from the action, again really cheap...

Ive never stayed at the Summer Breeze but alot of the guys here love it there, gets alot of thumbs up! I dont think they would get that unless they are pretty girl friendly!

I stayed at poppa palace, nice place, pool, down a quiet side road with massage opposite no joiner fee, very girl freindly, i will being going back

There are some upper end hotels that don't charge JF...Ibis is one....but Baan Yin Dee Apartments would get my pick if its luxury the OP is after

was about to say the same thing, all the resorts similar to the millennium will have the same joiner fee's and what not...

if people are after a bit more class then the C&N, the Sun Hill is a perfect choice

It is generally true that most 5 star resorts don't want BG's on their premises so charge ridiculous joiners to keep them out

These are not so much resorts as such but high end accommodation nonetheless........so just a short list off the top of my head...Absolute, Riccos, BYD appts, White Rose Appts, Ibis, Patong Bay Garden, Mercure (I think...not 100% sure though) and Summer Breeze has a very nice penthouse

Perhaps some others may join in with some more

I know its BKK but the JW Marriott don't bat an eyelid when you brings BG's back there. They have a no class policy there and everyone gets treated equally as a guest.

I think some of these resort style hotels in Patong are well beyond themselves

I stay at a good resort who asks a JF... but as I am a returning guest (52 times in 19 years) I don't pay. So being known, and even booking straight to the hotel and not through an agency might (I say might) make a difference.

yeh it is and all the resorts are similar and all have high guest fees
absolute apartments looks very classy and has no guest fee too

The Sunhill could be added to that list, not sure if anyway has stayed there but I would advise anyone to atleast take a look at the Delux and Apartment Suit...

yeah I think one should always ask when booking....when I was coming on holidays I got away without paying JF's with a few places by asking if there was any JF in writing and if they said yes i would write back and say "sorry I won't be bale to stay at your hotel if you charge JF"

Its amazing how many times it was dropped.....especially in low season

Ive heard of some hotels asking for 5000 or 6000 Baht, Holiday Inn in Patong been one...Can anyone confirm that?
