I just thought of the first experiance I had with a FL. I was in Samui with a mate on my very first trip. He hooks up with a bird the first night. Well I had not met anyone I was into yet. There I am, still kind of nervous and all since it was not "easy" for me yet. We decide to head to the Green Mango Disco and do a little oartying instead of the same beer bar thing, I meet this really cute gal, just really clicked. Stayed the whole night with her. I start to ask her what she does for work, shes says hair and nails. Fair enough. So we end up in my room doing the deed for most of the night. Im thinking to myself, wow Im really doing good with this TG. So she says she has to leave and we can meet up the next day. We meet up and the same same happens. Well this time when she's leaving she asks me for money. You should have seen my jaw drop. This whole time I just thought that I was so smooth, that I had so much game...wrong, just a FL with a part time job at night meeting BM like me. Oh well, she was fun though.

Ove rthe last 6 months i have not really posted anything because most of the topics are of the same thing.

I read selected threads but most add nothing of value to the forum.

I remember when i first joied the forum over a year ago, there was a much closer community of posters. Now there are so many newbies posting (which there is nothing wrong with) the communial sprit seems to have decreased.

I hope we can get itback to the old dys. Nicke has worked hard to make this site the success that it is today!!

I think the forum serves a couple of purposes.

I joined in May, made some posts and learned alot for my first trip.

I caught the bug for LOS. And keep it close by reading the forum.

I'm sure nothing I post is helpful to newbie's. I have a hard enough time dealing with my own problems.

But I met some great BM's in LOS and I like keeping in touch.

I've also feel a sort of kinship some BM's that I've never met in person. Funny how after a while you just know that if you meet up with someone, you'll get along.

A forum is a growing and evolving entity. Yes there is a lot of crap posts. But there are some real gems too.

It's not all about "where to meet girls". There are long threads about "worlds best women" "best bands" "best guitarist" all kinds of things.

The forum is an exchange of ideas amongst people with a common interest..."LOS"

You want a travel guide? read a book. When you're done, you've learned everything. Put it on a shelf to collect dust.

Yeah when I got done the FL even tried to pay me!! With old used books on LOS, A 15% membership discount card from Rio and one from Joe's Bar. I did not know I was worth that much either!!! :ytounge:
