FUCK YOU Holiday Inn (Don't pay for parking at Airport)

Recently I stayed in Holiday Inn on a business trip for over a month, and instead of giving me any IHG points, they disabled my accounts TWICE, after I called them, they directed my calls to timeshare scam vacation packages. And these scams aren't even owned by Holiday Inn, FUCKING ASSHOLES!

Today I went whoring at Holiday Inn at Airport, these greedy assholes wanted $8 parking fee, yesterday I was reading old threads, and got a tip to exit from the gap on the left side of the entrance, so I just drove out with my small car without paying. Screw Holiday Inn.

Oh yeah, I forgot they implemented that pay for parking bs but before the lots were always full and near impossible to find a visitor spot , now it's a ghost town

Cops weren’t enforcing parking during lockdown b4, & not 4 sometime after... prolly u can get away w it now...

Try calling 808-2222 & choose parking enforcement ... as if yer complaining re someone else... betcha they say they don’t do it...

I normally went Saturday before this 2nd lockdown so there was soccer going on in the park so luckily my car wasn't the only one in the lot, I think they've locked the park now for car entry, paying 1.50 and avoiding a ticket seems like a better idea now

Maybe paying 8 bucks for parking might be better than paying a $20 fine.

Just as a reminder, if you guys don't pay your parking fine, the ministry won't renew your plate stickers.

actually i depends. if the ticket is issued by a private company, you can basically tell them to fuck off. You can also park on the street adjacent to the apartment buildings too.

around Christmas time last year was going for lunch in Whitby. Paid parking all along the streets so was going to park in the little strip mall parking lot. The mall had hired some rent a cop to sit there and watch for people who parked in the lot and then went to the shops or restaurants on the street. If you ignored him and did it anyway, he called parking enforcement to come and ticket or tow your car away. There were signs in the lot that said for customer use only but who really pays attention to those. I saw two people coming back to find a ticket on their car after lunch and they were pissed.

One guy told me he stopped a tow truck driver trying to take his car away. His car was all hooked up and about to be pulled away, when he stepped in and confronted the tow truck driver. He said he wouldn't release the car back to him unless he forked over 35 bucks.

If you leave early, the next guy must still feed the meter to get his ticket. Unless you hand over your unexpired ticket to someone else, he must feed the meter to get his own ticket. If you guys must leave your spot with plenty of time remaining on your ticket, give your ticket to someone else looking for a spot. He may only need to park for a short time, and you may save him some change.

Actually most parking lots fixed that loophole a while back. All City of Toronto Green Parking municipal lots require you to enter your plate number which is printed in bold on the ticket and the attendants can easily verify if you using a legit ticket or "hand me down"
