How quiet is this low season?

lets get this thread back on topic......I went on a bit of a bar hop in Kamala last night.......

1st one I was the only customer with about 12 girls to choose from...then Dodge turned up and after that a few more farangs

2nd one 2 other guys + me and Dodge.....there were 6 girls

3rd one...I was the only customer with 5 girls

4th one just me and 9 girls

5th one Riders Club...about 50 girls eyeing up 6 falang..even this weird little Italian guy doing interpretive/flying motion dancing scored

I love low season me

Here for 12 nights at the Expat choose it because it is GF friendly not sure the bed will hold up though just sat on it and went "snappish" plywood under not just fitting properly and bloody hard matress so will need company for something soft to lay on top off!!!!

I know it takes all sorts and people are different the world over but I really can't get my head around people going abroad, spending money of flights and hotels, all the modern hassles of flying and when they get there all they do is head for the supermarket, buy some cheap booze & food and stay in their apartment/hotel room or drink it beside a pool.

Maybe if you travel by yourself you're more inclined to go out but even when I travel with other people we always head out and get to see some of the locality.

Yeah, things were definitely hopping in April before & during Songkran. The tourists slacked off a bit after that, but the girls didn't. Plenty to go around.

I won't be able to make it back until February. I've already allocated my vacation time for this year.

It was daytime actually, the fine was 300baht.

I didn't realize but I had paperwork which would have saved me, turns out the bike had white plates but they were lost when it was stolen and new plates are being waited on.

I'm guessing I got fined because the bike should have had white plates long ago, with my license being expired I wasnt arguing anything.

Bangla as a walking street is quite busy all year round tho, so it doesnt look really look quiet until you walk into the sois and see empty bars and restaurants.
