Do you have to blow the owner?

I don't "have" to do anything except die, and even that will be on my terms.

(I get what you're getting at, I'm sure it's common practice at many male owned spas and less a question of 'have to' vs 'how well do you want to do', which is sad)

It honestly really varies, a LOT. My sessions can look completely different from client to client, and sometimes totally different session to session with the same client.

Some sessions I would just cuddle the whole session and the release would happen in the last five minutes. Some sessions I would walk in, we would lock eyes, and for the rest of the time, I was basically a grinning, panting ragdoll. Some sessions I'd be a shy little lamb. I'm a very changeable person.

I have a 'template' of sorts that I start with, and if the client doesn't seem to be enjoying themselves or I can tell something is missing, I will usually ask them what they like and go from there.

Respect is important both ways. I think most people can benefit from a lesson on how to behave on either side of a "No".

I don't think your request is outlandish - if I'm understanding what you're asking, it's part of my massage portion. Men carry a lot of tension in their glutes so I spend the most time between there and the upper back/shoulders. You'll find someone, I'm sure.

Members have suggested those two Cindys so at least I know I'm in the right ballpark so to speak.

I am planning on being more assertive and just asking for what feels best for me. I've waited patiently through 30/60 minutes of my back being done while my back feels fine and my gluts and hamstrings need work. I find RMTs are terrible at gluts, hamstrings and quads because they spend so much time and effort ensuring they don't get anywhere near the genitals and anus, that it's nowhere near thorough. Too me when she completely undrapes me, that's when I know I'll get a better/thorough massage as she's obviously comfortable and knows I am as well (perhaps a hint for your business model ;-)

From my experience, many spas are now owned by women, especially the Asian ones.

To be frank, I think that's a lie more often than not, to gain public favor. I definitely know of one large chain where a woman is running it but all the backing and ownership on paper is a man.

I have worked with terrible male and female bosses. Of course, with a male boss, assault is more of a concern but nothing in this life is a guarantee.

You could try working for yourself. Either rent a room at a spa or move your place to one where you have extra space. Although I always wondered how some of these women feel safe in their own home with guys coming and going.

If our regimes keep up this lockdown and you want to get back to work, why not ask to work with one of your home-based friends? I know of a few MPAs that started working out of a rented townhouse and just keep it quiet.

I don't know of anyone who is doing that. Plus I'd always be concerned of being robbed or assaulted working with someone I barely know in their home...

I understand your concerns though as I don't even like the cable guy coming into my home to hook up my internet.

I think these lockdowns will just keep being extended. My (now) ex saw the writing on the wall last year and went back to china (with our older child) during March Break 2020! China is doing much better than us because they knew how to lockdown ACUTELY, not this CHRONIC lockdown idiocy western regimes are inflicting on us.

You may need to find another line of work or move to a city that's not affected by this carnage. As soon as they open their visa application program, I'm leaving for Malaysia with my child. I don't see a future for us in large western cities.

Are you still in school (working to pay for school) or is this just a career you entered and realized you enjoy it?

I was planning on going back to school in September but am now hearing whispers of certain requirements that I will not consent to. Going to see how things look come summer. The money from this job pays other debts...

You are obviously great with clients so will likely be busy as an RMT. I've already spoken with you more than with all my previous RMTs combined (mostly because of ESL issues though).

I am currently seeing an RMT that also does acupuncture and scraping and maybe because I've been with her for over one year, sometimes two or three times per week, after noticing that I had an erection after turning over from my gluts massage, she asked me if I wanted "that" massaged as well. I said yes and since then she regularly massages my penis until I ejaculate. And since you know how important that part of a massage is to your clients, you can also do wonderful work for (some of) them as an RMT. I've had more than one chastise me or ignore me when they saw my erection under the sheet. I just never go back.

I'd advise to look into it. A bit expensive, but with your gift with people, you'd pay off that student loan in no time. Plus I can tell you how to avoid paying the bankster usury on that loan until it's paid off.

I'm not sure about acupuncturists, but I am currently seeing my RMT, chiropractor, and physiotherapist! It just so happens my RMT is chinese so was trained in acupuncture, scraping and cupping in Beijing.

My dentist is also working as my child and I went for our semiannual cleaning two weeks ago.

I go to a clinic, as most I've been to, that works exclusively on MVA clients and I'm usually the only Caucasian in them as they don't need to deal with us as have enough chinese speaking clients, but took me because my MD is chinese and my ex had lots of connections in that community. They are sharks compared to the Caucasian, Iranian, Indians I e been to, even have their own lawyers, specialists referral system, direct billing to insurance...the only drawback, I can't talk to most of my therapists like I do with you and with the single exception of my current RMT, they are very prudish when it comes to nudity, genitals, any discussion of intimate touching... that's why I'm looking for an MPA I can see occasionally for more thorough glut work and more intimate massage.

It's a bit of a hill to climb, but RMT accreditation is definitely worth it if you love what you do and feel comfortable continuing to offer your current services to some clients. You'll be the most popular RMT around.
