Madame Cleos closes after 19 years

[HI everybody]

Walked by Madame Cleos and saw they're finally closed. The landlord finally had his way.

Looks like they were evicted quickly, or forcefully. Or mabey the landlord went in and ripped the place up cause there's garbage strewn all over the back lane.

A sad ending really. They started as Cleopatras in 1989. Never had any major issues with the City or with vice.

You could go in and see about 20 girls all standing there. They had a Bikini show between 4 and 6.

Had many pleasurable experiences at Cleos. My first was in 1996, my first experience anywhere, with a girl named Carly.

Still to date the best girl I ever had. Back then they were just on the Top Floor and then later expanded to both floors.

I know there was the legal battle and the lawsuit back in March. I noted the month of August in the Court decision.

I suppose the Landlord had the power turned off.

Not sure if they'll pop up anywhere else. Not sure if the City will let them now as Spa Sensuous has the other downtown license now.

It's a sad loss. They were unique, one of a kind, and I'm afraid we will never have another one like it.

It was a gem.

I thought thats what happened. Myself and a friend were DT 2 saturdays in a row and walked by there and noticed that there was no action at all. I had a feeling something happened.

Well another place fell victim to condo's going up. City of Condo's is what this city is looking like.
All of our entertainment places are being detroyed by condo buildings!!
What a fucking joke!!

My question is this.

1 -- will Madame Cleos be relocated? Any word?

2-- Where are all the girls that were working at Cleos going to go now? Wonder if they'll go INDY now.

I asked at Spa Sensuous and no Cleos girls have inquired there.

Don't believe Cleo's telephone recording saying they're closed for Renovations.

They are not reopening. They basically got kicked out.

Their website is still up. That's funny.

I think their Escort service Wet Vancouver is still operating.

But something swift must have happened there such as the owner ripped the place up cause there's clothing and wet sheets and garbage strewn all over the back lane.

Even their red neon sign in the shape of a rose and slipper has been taken down!

Maybe that red neon sign is for sale! Look for that sign for sale on craigslist!!!

I was there on the last night, it was like a party... there was like 25 girls there!! the manager said it has been a legal battle for three years and they finally gave up as the lease ended in November anyway and wasn't worth fighting anymore.

It didn't appear to be a forcible eviction... sounded like they were leaving by choice. It seemed more like they were celebrating.

So, they're closed down for three months, and re-opening in November. When I asked where, they told me to keep checking the website and that updates would be available there.

If they were closed I would think the phone and website would be off. But, what working girls can wait three months? I'm sure they'll go somewhere in the meantime.

I can wait three months. I love cleo's, I love the girls and I love the management, they've always taken good care of me there.

hey this is bostich pacman 1 is right i was there on the last day of cleos and i bought everyone including management dessert like 15 fresh cake pieces and cleos will be reopening again around november . Thats what i heard from management and they have a place but they are not quite sure when it will be open . Thats what they told me . Cleos is one of the best places in town cause there are very pretty girls and u don't get ripped off like when u see girls in craigslist . It was very professional service there and when u prebook a session there then i girl will be waiting for u when u arrive . Unlike places like broadwaybodycare when u prebook many times the girl doesn't show up . i really enjoyed the professional service of cleos and hope they reopen soon and hopefully the new place will be better and bigger than before and hopefully better parking for customers cause there was no parking before . To tell u the truth cleos is the best place to go out of all the places INcluding the fox den. The fox den has given me some hard times and i tried my best to be a nice customer but i think its them . THEY ARE A TOTAL JOKE AND TREAT CUSTOMERS bad. i have been to most of incall places around town and i would say cleos is the best for customer service , and the best looking girls, and price is ok

Great for tourists but i think the locals know there is better value elsewhere. Was the owner just fighting over the lease? They are going to put a high-rise in there. They will have trouble finding rents like they paid downtown.

madame cleos will be open again soon in the future and will be better and bigger than before and better service than carman fox which treated me like hell so stay away from carman fox . i wouldn't say its me i would say its the fox den who gave me a bad time there.
