Where was Olivia from before? I think she still working at old Sole Spa only place i seen her. Never known her to be Kiya anywhere?

tbh, after going here a fair amount after it first opened, the last few months have not been enjoyable. but worst for me is when i come in and ask for a lady by the name I know her by, and enjoyed my last massage with, but then the lady greeting me says "yes I am _____" and i just look at her in disbelief. "Is there two _____ working here?" I ask - and get blank stare back. I use blanks for names because it has happened to me twice now, and I know its never real names and all that, but I just hate getting straight up lied to. I often put up with the runaround, but getting lied just makes me turn and walk out the door. It was nice for a while as a quick walk-in option southside.

I got to start 2020 on a sure note and got a massage with Katie/Olivia. Her name is spelled Oliveya on Kijiji, but correctly on the website.

Two bits of information to pass along:
1. They advertise direct billing, but it is only for one insurance company. I think, Alberta Blue Cross.

2. Don't waste your time booking online. NO matter what the time slot is, every name will be available, but when you book the lady you want, you will only get the one available when you arrive. That is probably why luvsmassage had his issues with his visits.

Personally, I am not really a fan of the place anymore. Usually too busy in relation to staffing, too much changeover, too quickly. I hope "Olivia" goes elsewhere.

I like Meridian because the massage beds are super comfortable, it's always warm, the oils are nice, and the masseuses are all top notch. I was never sure why this place didn't get more love.

Your right. It’s still an ok place to visit and staff isn’t all that bad.

My personal 2 cents only, Meridian is not a bad place but it is within walking distance of Strathcona (a better place because of the Cindy), a short drive a Rosewater (brand new, nice and clean, although with questionable ladies at times); beyond that you have 4 or 5 other places within a km or two to compete with. I don't live in the south, if I do make long drive there, I have too many choices. If ONE of those places is in the north side when I live, they would get a ton more attention from me. As it sits right now, other than Miracle Health and Sole Spa, northing north of downtown; why I am paying close attention to the Kissy thread.

Look for "Kiya" in the old AM spa threads. It is now called Miracle Health Spa. Before that, she was LaLa at Xiaoping.

Update: they are advertising an expanded list of health insurers, for direct billing.

Hey Nuk, you do need to go and try one out, like Rub said. Do your research here, make an appointment, or walk-in, and give it a try. Not everyone gets the same level of "service", it all depends on the lady's first impression of you or subsequent visits. Maybe you get nothing or maybe you leave happy. Whichever, just remember to be respectful.

Just a heads up: if you were wanting to try someone new, or new to you: Emma, Lin, and Coco (all "available" to book online)....are actually not available, at all.
One is gone for good, and two are on holidays (perhaps checking on the welfare of their families, back in China). Sorry. I am not sure which one was gone for good. That is the best intel I can provide for now. Jessica and Olivia appear to be the only ones available right now. Unless, someone on here knows more?

Emma was still there as of this weekend, and was told Lin is on vacation back home right now.
