Yeah, even us proponents of the venture that GLG67 is proposing admit that it could be difficult to set-up this type of establishment, but just because it would be more difficult, I don't think it would be destined for failure.

You would probably start small with a limited roster of attracitve girls who are willing to show their face and once the taboo starts to wear off, I think more girls would be willing to reveal themselves. As GLG67 mentioned, it might be a bit trendsetting and eventually other spas might do it too.

If that was the case...It would be an excellent, trend setting business model, that I am sure would do very well.

I think MUSE, in their search for talent, should find those from other sites who show faces.

You posted about 10... you realize that massageplanet.net probably has about half the spas in the cities that have websites advertise here right? And it has the websites of all the top quality spas... Allure, SRM, Utopia. HFH... hardly no one shows there faces there.

A good businessman would have understood more about the scope of the business in the GTA and realize it is impossible to hire all those quality girls that show there faces to come to his spa. A good business man would also realize that if those girls came to a spa where all the girls showed there face they would lose a competitive advantage they currently have, hence making it hard to attract such girls to his spa. A good business man would also realize that established girls in this business aren't that keen on going to startups.



Obviously you can't read. I was very complimentary of a girl like Liz of SRM.

Nope. The top four spas (identified above, and top "in looks" anyway) have the highest propprtion of hot girls in the biz (including facially) but have the lowest proportion of face shots.

A good businessman would do some on site research before making any rash assessments.

Once again you did not follow my comments on Liz... nor the fact that Blie Pearl is not notorious for bad looking girls.

Dani was well below average by IT (Invisible Touch) standards when she worked there some years ago. She would be well below average looking at a top spa now as well. Not that she is ugly. Its just a very competitive industry, and she is more "service" oriented.

A good business man would be a better judge of physical talent.

If you look at other spas with girls faces showing, tell the the caliber of THOSE girls...its a sad low-end trend. Luckly most girls have LIVES outside massage and would NEVER show faces !!! Just like we have fake names and you guys have massageplanet.net handles....richaceg and GLG you guys put your name and face on massageplanet.net and then we can argue about face pics....ridiculous boys, like it would kill you to come in and meet them....AND considering how much everyone hates photoshoped pics, I can only imagine the complaints after. If a girl is willing to show her face for competitve reasons and is a quality attractive attendant why not go to an established spa and be one of the few that show your face?

Hmmm??? Wouldn't that make more sense then going to a startup where she does not have that same competitive advantage?

I agree it would be great for the customer. But at issue is the lack of business acumen that GLG has. He wants to boast about it, but it makes no logical sense.

And you're missing the big picture. Pictures of faces won't make the spa, the quality of girls make the spa. Some of the best girls ever reviewed have never shown their face on the website and continue to be busy. You assume that showing faces of MPA's will result in increased business. But how many hot MPA's that supply good service will take the demands of the MP to show their face when all other spas don't. Not too many.

You posted a list of MPA's that show. I can show give you 5x more MPA's that are better and more busy that have never shown their face.

GLG I would love to see faces but it would not stop me from going to see my favourite MPA's that don't show their face. It's really that simple.

Well, my purpose isn't to get into an argument about business acumen, but I sitll think you can be successful taking a road less travelled.

Perhaps there are other incentives that you can offer top quality attendents that other spas don't. Perhaps the ladies might be attracted to the notion of working for a smaller start-up rather than a large major spa that has more internal competiton and has hectic hours.

Like I said before, it would be more difficult finding the talent, and that's why you would probably have to offer some other benefits to entice the ladies. Nevertheless, I'm sure other clients would appreciate your straight-forward advertising and reward you with their patronage.

Doing business with the same business model and same approach for the most part, offers the same result. I'm not saying that showing a girls face will make you the top-end spa in the GTA, but just because you do, won't necessarily mean that your going to be a dump of a spa either.

You would have exponential increase in website traffic, and I dare say increase in business.

I am not saying make it imperative..you just offer a place where those who are hired MUST show their faces.

RV, you make some good points. I just think it would be tough to get the quality to agree. Also some MPA's have established great reputations and clients will still be seeing them regardless. It wouldn't sway any successful spa to do the same, unless (and I say unless) the quality came with the face pics.

Oh boy. Never ever would we do something like that!! Again, the type of girls who tend to show faces, well, I'm not gonna name names or spas, but. We much prefer girls with jobs, school, LIFE!! And with a brain and beauty, well they are very concerned about privacy. I think expecting faces is ridiculous. It looks terrible and shows that a girl has no shame. Just like u boys like privacy, ladies do too!!! And as for the car salesman analogy: let me guess, u wanna test drive too!?! Lord love a duck! LOL. Boys, u kill me! I can't believe ur even justifying this. LOL. @MUSE privacy is something we take quite seriously. The entire flow of the spa is set to keep clients and girls safe, private, and secure.
