Its changing again. You have to sign up through their website. They must be too busy, obviously they want to cut down on the number of clients.

Starting on Tuesday August 4th all clients will be required to verify their cell phone numbers through our website before making an appointment. This will apply to all clients, including those who have already visited the spa since our reopening in June.

We are making these changes to enhance the security of our wonderful ladies, and also to make more appointments available to our very best clients by screening clients who abuse their anonymity by not showing up for their appointments or canceling with inadequate notice.

Verifying your phone number is a very simple, quick procedure that you will only need to do one time. Full details about registering your cell phone number can be found on our website sign up page which is now operational:

Please register your number as soon as possible. After August 3rd even long time clients will no longer be able to make appointments without your number being registered in our system. Once your cell number is confirmed you can continue to make all appointments exclusively by phone. Needless to say your privacy is incredibly important to us, and our sign up page contains full details explaining how your discretion is always assured.

Another recent change is that clients are no longer required to call and confirm appointments at the beginning of the shift. Our website schedule will always be maintained with a high degree of accuracy in real time, so if by chance your attendant takes the day off or leaves during her shift this will immediately be reflected on our online schedule.

Please be sure to double check our website to make sure the lady you booked is still on schedule before you come to the spa, and also feel free to call right before you visit to double check all is in order with your appointment.

We are now only allowing one client at a time in our reception areas and we’re so grateful about how positively this new policy has been received. Our managers have really enjoyed pampering you one person at a time, and we’re delighted how much this has enhanced client privacy as well as providing the absolute maximum social distancing every visit.

So to make any appointment you only need to call twice: the first time to make your booking, and the second time to let us know you have arrived in the parking lot and are ready to enter for your appointment. We will call you back to let you know when it is time to come in if we can’t serve you immediately.

Yeah, its been a thing for a while were agencies can tell if whaf your calling from is a internet phone or not. I don't do deposits or references and I hate having to call from a real phone.

Plenty of other places and gals that are happy to make money.

Good on you for having that burner phone. I don't see why others protecting their privacy can't do the same thing.

The system only seems complicated because the explanation on their site is so long-winded. It's just really a 3-step process. I appreciate the transparency on their end.

Last Sunday was my first time back at Perla. I believe this phone registry thing is their 3rd booking method. I wasn't around for the e-mail/text confirmation phase when they first reopened. It lasted for a good week.

I can see someone with an SO being paranoid about her finding a second phone. Probably harder to explain that than the odd questionable phone call or browser history. But if Premier enforces the no app rule there's no other choice.

I'm sure they will lose some clients due to this policy, but maybe the clients that stay will be of better quality, and the trade-off is worth it to them. Business seems ok now. In the first week their phones were slammed and they got so many emails for pre-bookings that they had to just delete them all without reading them. And now Pure is opening back up.

They will lose me. I use TEXT NOW and just got refused registration even though i have used it dozens of times to book an appointment. The wesite says this:


For the privacy and safety of our clients we are now only allowing one client at a time in our reception areas. Please call us at 416 661-7887 from the parking lot when you first arrive for your appointment. If we cannot bring you in right away we will call you back to let you know when to come in. Please be advised this call will be from our Premier business number. This is the only circumstance we will ever call you. If we need to communicate with you for any other reason all contact will only be made by anonymous text via your verified cell number on file.

The bolded part concerns me. That is an electronic record that is there forever because for me that call from 20 feet away in the parking lot will be a long distance call. This sucks. I need a recommendation for a new spa east of DVP and south of 401 if someone could help me out. And know i want go back to PA. How could i go back to PA after finding Pure/Perla?

No charge but a record on the statement. Local calls dont show but long distance calls do only monthly statement

With Premier's new system, they will lose some and gain some. The clients they gain, they'll keep for a really long time and it'll be good for their bottomline. I judge the experience based on the entire process from the booking to the payment to the session. For me personally, I'm a stickler for time so I hate waiting at the front desk and in the room. If I have an appointment at 3pm for example, I know we don't start on the dot but there's no excuse for a girl to be coming in the room at 0320 or 0325 when all is said and done. Other customers don't mind and enjoy interacting with fellow clients and receptionists so Premier's 3-step method is not for them. They don't want the booking hassle and would rather wait. It works for me because I despise delays with a passion so I'll register my damn number if it means getting straight to the point. I so look forward to Pure's re-opening! We need variety!

So I registered my number the other day, and today I called to make an appointment. They asked for my number instead of my name, then they used it to look up the name I registered with. So the policy may not be in effect yet but they are using the system already.

I got a few other things I got to settle as well.

Speakout 7-11. You can buy a SIM card, airtime voucher, and even a phone with cash at any 7-11 store. No need for your name or any other personal info and no contract. Runs on the Rogers network so coverage/reception is good. You register the SIM online but you don't need to make an account or anything, and even if you make one you can use any name and email. Airtime voucher can be loaded by dialing a USSD code. Same for checking your balance.

They have a promo now where if you buy $100 airtime you get an extra $25, free SIM, and $30 off a phone (reg $80). So for $150 + tax you can get $125 airtime + SIM + cheap Android phone. I think airtime is $0.30/min and outgoing texts are $0.15 each, but they also have monthly plans. I spend around $10/month which is worth it for the privacy and convenience IMO.

Yeah I use it too, though I just have it in my second sim slot. I used to have to carry a second phone for work; NEVER AGAIN.
