Sorry, but I'd rather leave the "imaginative posts" to you. If I got involved in that, I'd have the same problems as others. It's too much effort to remember all the details - much easier to just describe "what is", in which case one doesn't need to remember what one wrote the day before before adding information.
I have more than enough problems remembering the past without adding made-up stories to it that I've also got to remember. Fortunately, I take enough photos so that my "proof" of things usually takes nothing more than to dig out a photo of whatever I'm talking about.
What's strange though, is you certainly aren't one of the people who gives all the newcomers a hard time, so either you don't like the way I describe things, or you just feel very strongly the opposite way about things as I do - neither of which is a problem to me. The only thing that bugs me, is when you (or anyone) takes what I say out of context to mean something I had no intention of saying, but even that no longer bothers me as much as it used to.
