My GF is always hustling drinks, even from me.... she will have guys buy her shots over and over again. She will swithc them out sometimes with tonic water. Not with me cos I check. So I just sit at the bar and watch guys buy her drinks and just smile. Better you then me.

Not all thai girls who get smashed ask for drinks or get nasty. Me and a friend got smashed one night in phuket. All night we brought this girl drinks. I have to say we because i brought her 1 and my mate the rest. In the end she was smashed and went home. I was smashed and managed to find my hotel in a resonable time. my mate lost 4 hours of his memory and turned up at 6.30 am. Still the girl was very friendly to both of us and we had a lot of fun. (well that was till the next day) As in everything it just depends on the women. poor girl drunk not quite as much as us but i know a few men who would have been on the floor after what she was drinking.

Andy50 - I think you make valid comment on 'Lady Drinks' - the girl just drinking a tiny glass of some crap drink is not fair to you - the customer. I think its fair that the girl gets commision, and at Angels this is clearly written at the bottom of the menu. The girl can drink what ever she likes, and the drink is exactly the same as what the cusomer gets - just that the extra 40 Baht you will be charged goes to her as commission.

I dont know of any BM bar (Mai Thai, Darkside, Love Bar, Angels, Faulty Towers) that would promote behaviour of the girl you were unlucky enough to be with.

the lady i s-tayed with didn,t drink alc also didn,t smoke (exept my knob that is!)
she did me proud and im not dissing her --no way--it was just that the check bin had her little orange and ice drinks charged at 120bht plus and that was during my s-tay wit her--(2 weeks approx)
this was in varios bars, not in love or mai tai btw (as previosly stated)
personately i was well aware of this ,and i don,t give a ===
if i did i would have said at the time
all im saying is---------to all you newbies ------keep an eye on your check-bin if your on a tight budget

Must admit I get a bit annoyed sometimes at bars where the ladydrink is a squirt of orange squash and is almost pure profit to the bar, less her commission. A mate of mine over a few weeks ago at such bars often would not buy the girl a drink but gave her 50 baht instead!

I know it's the way of "paying for her time" to sit with you but I'm much happier buying ladydrinks at bars where they do get an alcoholic drink at the same price....and there are quite a few of these about.

In Ocean they can play with the prices to, and they do. And also is Ocean expensive but has good products.

What a problem for the 40 bath... extra for drinks. Just give her a drink or maybe two if she is nice to you. If she's asking more and more, just ignore her. B.t.w. thai girls who drink a lot alcohol will give you a hard time and trouble if you take them to your room. Some how they can't drink. They all play games and you play the game to! The evening is the most expencive part of the day. I always take 800 baht with me in the evening and that's it. Instead of drinking the beer (what only make you piss a lot) I drink some Mekong with ice. (only 50 baht) Two or four will do! Whatever happens, I have never regrets about the amount money in the morning and still had a lot of fun.

If you go shopping with her you just stay incharge. It's still your money? You deal over the price and find out what is a good deal or not. Thai price or farang price, whatever. You would be supriced how much money you will save.

If you handy with it, go to the street markets for bikini's and other girlyclothes. There you can make the best deal. Often Vendors came after me and afterall agreeded with a good price.

Only in the Agogo bars do the girls stick to the 'ladydrink rules' and this is usually pre-barfine too, after you paid bar they order what they want to drink rather than some sh1tty cheap cola/orange.

Beer bars are usually a different matter, far more relaxed bosses who let the girls pretty much do as they please, main concern in BB's is selling drinks not matter what is ordered.

Bacardi breezers are the usual favourite of most bb girls.

I always ask my BG's for an itemised bill to include Lady Drinks (Always reminds me of Little Britain that phrase!!) before they leave the bungalow in the morning, then I throw them my wallet to take what they want from it. It's normally empty anyway unless I have ponced a 1000 off Gson! I take off the bill everything I have provided them (Such as 2 minutes of fantastic sex, the condom, bottled water and use of shower and my Lynx showergel etc) add the tourist tax and DAT, then show them the door! Normally works out at about the 1000...................I borrowed off Gson!

hi gee! well one of the bars was opposite the door way to the suzi wongs place
i bought about 3 bottles of singha --she had 3 little non alcoholic orange drinks with loads of ice 3 drinks to mach me--

all the orange drinks were charged at 120bht
i -CANT- guarantee this post, as i always was drunk !
so don,t take this as gospel ! but im pretty sure im right -- lets finish talking about it now ,

hi all thanks for the replys --yes alfie i was a bit pissed when i posted the subject----
but this is what did happen !
it didn,t worry me, it was just an obversation ,so i decided to tell you all!
the spy,drink "trick " was especially interesting --also the hand-bag she chose--i could tell that she was,t interested in any paticular one --she just picked one at random and showed little interest in it(at least she didn,t hit me around the head with it)

hi geespot-- what happend was--before going to the mai tai we always went to various different random bars each evening
just for one drink then move on --but she always ordered a s-mall glass of orange (no alcohol as she doesn,t drink )
i didn,t realise at first-but i looked at the bill pot invoice and the cost was circa120 bht for these orange drinks __she must have drunk about a gallon during the time i went out with her!
