i can,t remember gee !! i was pissed from when i got off the plane to when i got back on !(i,m pissed now!)
but seriously-- i went to various bars before ending up in the mai tai and later love bar(fcuk me side-ways-- them lady-boys are so sexy !-- but i digress-- --she always had a non alco drink and the bill pot always was 120 plus for these little drinks
at first i didn,t check the pot-bill --but after i dont know when__i had a gander (a look )only to find that i was paying 120 plus for her drink
personally i dont give a **** i loved her company !i should know better i know, but this is thailand and i always have a fantastic time!

A ladydrink costs about 120bath, and is for the girls... If they want orangejuice or alcohol, i dont care. If i have said its ok to the girl, i dont give a flying fukc whats in it... Up to them...

couple of things come to mind

She is ripping u off and has made an arrangement with every bar u go to, also does the little orange drink (common thing in ago go's in BKK) get served in love bar or MTB? other BM's bars i cant ask as i dont no them (recent BM newbies)

She doesnt know this is happening; alot of bars are ripping u off! she is probably purposely asking for small glasses of orange, to save her getting sick of drinking the stuff and having to go to the toilet all the time

As ive said before any one of these scenarios rarely happen and i would suggest u have been very unlucky

Most bars i know will only serve proper drinks of the lady's choice

Its more likely that some unscrupulous bars pad bar bills by slipping extra drinks on or if u ring the bell be very careful that the drinks for girls and the staff are not charged at Lady Drink prices a very sharp practice indeed which does not promote good customer loyalty

I have not really struck any major problems in Phuket, with regards to being blatantly ripped-off with drinks for a BG. Usually I will order two of what ever I am drinking, and pay normal price, as though they were both for myself.

In Pattaya, I would order a Singha, or Vodka for myself, and a Mekong or whatever, as well, (saying they were both for me).

She got her drink of choice, and I paid at normal prices. I am very aware that each of these 'lady drinks' are, yet another source of income for the BG, but I do object to paying the Bar, what is a ridiculous sum for a squirt of Orange juice when I am already paying them a Bar Fine, for occupying her work-time.

Believe me, the BG is certainly not out-of-pocket, at the end of the 'contract', as I usually give a little extra to them, as long as they have behaved well, and not attempted to deceive me in any way.

I'm more the party guy who take some girls with me to make a party so I'm controling the situation. You can easy spend 5000 (or more) in a bar every evening and that's to much if I stay a month. There for I have a nice bungalow and a full loaded ( 7 eleven) fridge with breezers for the girls. Girls like money but sometimes fun to. Last week of my holiday two girls stayed in my bungalow and I only took care for drinks and food.(Thai market) The girls stayed in the soi where upstair is the Tiger The girls who sitting on a bar but were not owned with that bar. So there was no barfine. After the baqr closed we went play pool with a group of bargirls and an other British guy. I gave the 6 girls and the British guy drinks and payed also for the pool. (had more then the 800 baht with me I realyse) The second round never came from the Brit and I got angry because of it with him. He runned of with one girl and the rest of the girls stayed with me. We went to my room and swim naked all together. One banged her head, an other girls felt on the concrete. Both a little hurt but still laughing. (drunk) At last three went home and two stayed. They brought their stuff and never left again.
We had a lot of fun together and I showed my respect for them. Never had arguments about money because I explained it before. Still they stayed. Maybe not the most pretty girls but at least they were very nice and in for a good joke. At nite we went nude swimming in the pool and other customers (guys from France with Thai girls) joined us. Even the stereo turned on. This happened several nights. (poor guard could only watch)

When I left they even helped packing. What a fun! I know you only can do this in low season. But it's not the first time more then one girl stayed with me for more then one day.
Like I said never had regrets about the money I lost.
Don't know the Lao Kao.

Agree with you Tarzan but remember the BG is getting max 50 baht off this, so its really the bar thats taking the piss not the girls

thats why i say name and shame them, Bars should serve proper drinks not silly little glasses of orange which cost them next to nothing, which equates to unecessary profiteering and bad customer service

oh and by the way whats the most profitable drink for bar owners (not including bottles of water), i would say vodka based shooters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what I mostly do to let them decide. I'd rather the money go to them then the bar and it gives me a few points for later on. :biggrinlo Most of the time they take the 100 baht but sometimes they take the drink as they still need to make their quota for the month on LD's.
