I have a more direct response for Travbelgirl. She wants to knw why we want to be with BGs instead of "regular" girls, even though we have been burned by BGs in the past.

Well, first of, I'd like to hear from any BM that hasn't been burned by a "regular" girl at least once in the past. Usually they burn you worse than any BG. If you weren't maried they just screw you up emotionally. If you were married they take half, or more, of what you have, and keep on taking a big chunk of your income for a lot of years. All the while screwing you over, but not screwing you.

I have six sisters. As they have aged, and had various failed relationships, they decide just to forget about it, and do without sex for the rest of their lives. This is usually sometimne in their forties. Men come to the same conclusion, with one exception; we aren't willing to give up sex for the last 30 to 40 years of our lives. Guys just aren't built like that. The western world says when the woman decides no more sex, the guy is just supposed to suck it up and "take it like a man". Taking it like a man is the phrase women like to when they screw you over badly, and awant to belittle you as well for even objecting. I hate that the concept of manhood in the west is that you should just take sh*t from women and be quiet about it.

So, why do we (especially older guys) go to Thailand to have a fling with BGs?

1) We aren't interested in the hassles of a long term relationship any longer. As W. C. Fields once said, " Women are like elephants; I find them completely facinating, but I have no desire to own one."

2) Its nice to be somewhere where a gentleman, of more than middle years, can look at a gorgeous young girl and not be stoned as some kind of pervert. How is it perverted to find young women attractive? The this has been built up as a normal attitude in the west is this puts the women in control.

3) I may be old(er), but I'm not dead. It is nice to be somewhere where at 50 you are still considered in the game. In the US young women look through you as if you don't exist, when they aren't giving you a ration for having the audacity to actually look at the tits they are openly exhibiting to the world. Of course, they weren't meant to be looked at by one of the walking dead. It is nice to have a pretty girl at least look at you as a possibility.

4) BGs are a lot easier to get along with than "regular" girls. If one goes on a tear, you just send her on her way and move on to the next. I actually learned this from a very attractive young woman who worked for me (in the office). I asked her why she was going to Jamaica alone. Her response was, "If I go with a guy I may have a good time, depending on how we get along. If I go on my own, I know I will have a good time."

All of this doesn't address why we might want to form a relationship with a BG. The answer to that is, mostly, we don't go thinking that is what we want. But they are just so sweet, beautiful, attentive, and just plain nice to us that it happens even though our better judgment says we shouldn't get emotionally involved.

I've probably said too much. I intended to give travel girl a straight, serious, response to her post. As you can probably tell; I am not a BM that could write in saying I've never been burned by a regular girl.

MMM. First at all, lets get back to the essential thing about this post.

Falling in love with a bg, not just s*rewing them....I agree with travelgirl there. it is something else to bang with a bg, or fl, then wanting a relation with her. Some guys are indeed over their heels in love with a bg. Most of the time the bg, can like the customer, but doesn't care more then to get some extra baht.

Now some guys are coming home with tears in their eyes. Talking to everybody about the love of their live. Putting money away to send to this fantastic girl.

Saving money to get back next year, only living for that.

Exagerating? No! I saw once a scene, wich was funny but tragic. A guy comes of a plane. He goes to his hotel showers. After his long flight and full of Jetlag, he stumbles out of his hotel. Goes to his beloved, who of course, still works in the bar.

Then he finnaly see her, and crying of hapiness, shout at his girl: Lek, I am back!!! The girl looks at him with suprise, not knowing who this guy is!

So, as long that you don't get involved, bg's are easy fun. But for a relation, I would look somewhere else!
