I just got off the phone with a good friend of mine, the other day was her 78th birthday. Recently she's had family members charge thousands of dollars on her card without her permission, in addition to screwing her out of a not-insignificant amount of cash in other ways. She's not a wealthy person at all, but when they needed help she helped them, and then this is how they treat her.:grrrrrr:

I suggested she change her bank account and credit card numbers, and that these are not the best people to have her power-of-attorney. I'm proud of myself for doing so without using the words "lowlife scum", "parasites", or "complete and total douchebag". I also didn't verbalize the many curses I was putting on the assholes in my mind. I will follow-up with her and make sure she gets those changes made.

It just sucks when people take advantage. I try to take the long view and remember that what goes around comes around, but sometimes I would like it if karma worked faster. :grrrrrr::grrrrrr::grrrrrr:

Actually confronted a Subway owner about his employee doing just that. He said NO we don't do that, then looked over to see the clerk dispose of the gloves.
