I agree with Jenna that her service as gone down and I really don't care what the reason is. For that kind of money, I am not interested in sub par service.

As for Tarah I think I have only seen her after her service went down and there is no way I will ever repeat. So based on the reviews of other massageplanet.nets members I can assume that her service has gone down.

By the way I don't think anybody should be surprised that level of service changes. It is the nature of the beast. The girls just can't stay in this business long term with losing something.

The DFK thread is NOT about Jenna. I hope most people know who DFK is referring to. Anyone who experienced being REJECTED (as DFK put it) would understand the pain. Other should be educated of such possibility, not just limited to the MP scene.

Massage, like many other hobbies, is a strange business. It is more than just expensive entertainment. It involves person to person interactions. More often than not, hobbyists go for it because there is a VOID TO FILL (void usually mean more than just bein horny needing a release). So it can be addictive and everybody knows that, especially the service providers - the MPAs. Needless to say, some deliberately exploit the weaknesses of these hobbyists, blurring the line between reality and fantasy - some people call it mind f**k. The abrupt rejection DFK referred to is apparently one of a kind. So buyers beware!!

What is REALLY SAD is many innocent hobbyists continue to fall in the traps. I won't say no more because this topic has been extensively discussed - see a recent long thread entitled "Are you not in love..." - probably in either page 2 or page 3 now. I found the contributions amusing and informative to re-read.

...another possibility is that the MPA didn't want to provide certain services in the past, and now feels more comfortable (whether because of her current employer or her own level of experience) providing a somewhat more limited service.

Although it is our loss, it is the MPA's right to choose.

Unfortunately, there may be some MPA's (not Jenna) who don't communicate the reason for the change or may stringalong a customer with the belief that things might get back to the way that they once were.

Let me spell it out for you buddy....

The scorpion and the frog reference is addressing the post made by DFK_needed and some of others who were burned by a certain mpa and continued to repeat with the unnamed one even when they knew they were getting burned.

I (for one) think that it was good insight and good food for thought.

What is your connection to IT. I have noticed that you seem to enjoy the inane ramblings of a certain user who regularly spouts nonsense and frequently praises IT.

To elaborate on what Secret Touch was saying, the "pushovers" and "sweet girls" gain experience, and realize that they do not have to do what they don't want to do to stay in business. Many customers 'prey' on new (young) girls knowing that they can push them to do whatever they want; and convince themselves that she must want it too. Usually, this is not the case and the mpa ends up feeling terrible. She has three choices:

-continue to provide the service risking her emotional well being
-quit the business or change spas
-change her level of service

I'm sure that everyone knows an mpa who's been through this (even if she doesn't tell you, her actions can show that she is torn).

I think that it is unfair to expect mpa's to outperform themselves everytime; and at what point does it stop? Providers are aware that the business has no loyalty; what she won't do someone else will, and if she does do it it's only a matter of time before the client gets bored with her anyway.

Paul, I don't really want to get into a pissing contest, but I am concerned about the integrity of our board when we have the owner of an mp criticizing an mpa that does not work for him or discussing issues surrounding other MPs!!!!! That does not seem right to me....

Regarding Rusty's posts (I tried for 5 minutes to think of a way to say this without being offensive to Rusty but I think that it is only fair that I call it as I see it) it seems to me that everyone knows that he is a shill for HFH and IT.

Rusty's posts are sometimes funny, but usually off topic and should be posted in the lounge or the bathrooms at IT. As a marketing specialist, it seems to me that Rusty's contributions are designed to keep his handle visible...but it does something else because you associate Rusty with IT and HFH...this to me is a very clever form of using the board for ADVERTISING......also not good.... brilliant concept..but it's time for it to go....

I have never viewed Rusty's posts as shilling and would think that it has a lot to do with how we view the world. Life is not all about money.

Basically, Rusty is nuts ( literally ) about IT. From my perspective IT is only a vessel for his dry observant humour and living out his fantasies using the colourful characters that frequent the establishment.

thanks for the perspective...you got me thinking about it...to be fair, I have not been around that long, and have not read all of Rusty's posts, so I dont' really know what he is all about...

for the most part, I like his sense of humor... I think that i mentioned in my post that if it really is just his enthusiasm for the place, then that's great, but it just seems to me that it is just too consistent to be a coincidence.

the guy is either crazy or a genius (marketing)..and there is a fine line between the two..

I appreciate the fact that you kept your criticism of me on a tasteful level. You are obviously not only a very sweet, but also a very mild mannered kid.

As far as the shilling for IT goes, I can see how you could percieve it as being shilling, but all it is is a sweet young boy professing his love for a place he adores oh so very much. Dont blame Paul for my IT posts, as he has never asked me to post anything favourable about IT. I simply do it because of the love I feel towards IT.
