Honestly Kinga, and with RESPECT, I don't know what you're trying to accomplish.

Milupa's an experienced and well respected client.

The first thing I learned in business years ago, is that when somebody says it's NOT about the money... well... it IS We all expect to be paid for the work we do. It's how we APPROACH the subject of money with our clients that's important.

I can tell you that $250 for an hour at an MP is almost at the top of the rate scale.

A 1 hour BS at SRM would be $240

For your spa to only offer 30 or 60 minutes is just plain stupid. While that may not be YOUR fault, I can guarantee as an MPA you'll run into this problem again.

As a client if I booked 30 minutes and we went to 40 minutes, I'd expect to be charged an extra $20 for the room, and maybe an extra $20 or $30 in tips.

Here are some POLITE suggestions:

1.) As an MPA, don't bother reading massageplanet.net. You'll only get frustrated and/or paranoid. Most of the top girls out there can't be bothered because they don't want to spend their lives at the MP then come home and "defend themselves."

2.) Suggest that your spa establish some fixed 45 minute pricing. That way if a client "goes over 30 minutes by even a minute", you can ask for extra cash without the client feeling gouged.

I don't agree. If you go over your time limit then it's up to the MPA to tell the customer RIGHT THEN & THERE that she'll be charging you more for the door fee + extras....this way YOU can decide to either stop the session or continue...

Charging for 1 hour or even 45 mins AFTER the session's over without the customer agreeing is ridiculous!

This thread may have over 4000 views but I don't think it's positive marketing because it's an eye-opener for everyone!

I'm definitely staying away for this place!

I agree with you on this point. If you book a 30 minute appt and are coming up to the limit, then the MPA should ask you IF and HOW LONG you wish to extend for.

Especially at a place like this with only 30 or 60 minute options. The point I was trying to make is that's a HUGE price jump and IMO there should be "reasonable" price increments.

Milupa has given us tons of valuable info over the years. I cannot remember anything in the past to sit here and say that he would be lying. Somebody clearly tipped Kinga off about the website (and probably this thread) and she came on here to defend herself. There's been plenty of situations were MPA have done things like this only to straighten up ther act for bit when something was posted here. MPA's that do these acts usually do it again later down road when they think all is forgotten. I really hope it doesn't. None of us were there, so we shouldn't accused either of them of lying. It's a case of he said, she said. You decide who you want to believe.

Why don't we just leave it at this. To the people that have seen Kinga and had a great experience. That's great and go see her again.I'm sure she will appreciate the repeat business. I'm pretty sure Milupa will not be going back to see you Kinga. Let's not turn on a fellow massageplanet.netite that's given so much to the website. Leave it that. For everyone else who wants to see Kinga in the future, you decide for yourself and go from from you feel.

You did call me a liar in your first post. I don't care that much about the money so you can keep it. My post was to warn the other massageplanet.netites about this so they won't end up in a situation like this.
I have got no intentions to see you , in fact I am not even remotely thinking about going to any of the low end spa.
I would like to stick to my regulars for the time being but eventually I will end up at another spa like yours again soon ,in search of finding a diamond in the rough.

I agree with this point to an extent and while it seems like a reasonable solution, a client should never be put in that situation. it is up to the MPA to maintain control of the session and the time. you ask for 30min, and she massages you for 28 then tells you to flip...then you have 30sec left and you're ready to grand finale...the MPA says it'll be another $40 or whatever. obviously no on in their right mind is going to say no.

its a very poor situation to be in and the MPA should know AT ALL TIMES how much time is left, and never have to ask mid-session for more money for any reason

1) I sure hope it's not against the rules for providers to post here and to defend themselves - whether they are right or wrong, at least give them a chance to express their point of view.
2) I strongly believe that it is up to the masseuse to control the time and watch the clock. They know why we're there. They know we are certainly not clock watchers. They know we've asked for a certain amount of time, whatever it may be on any given occasion. I think that if a session goes over by a few minutes or even double the time, it's up to the masseuse or the house to swallow the difference. What would happen if you go for a massage and the lady does a great job and you fall asleep and she lets you sleep for 2 hours and then wakes you up for a quick tug ? Would it be even remotely reasonable to expect that client to pay for the extra time ? Come on, get serious.
What happens in a restaurant when you specifically order a small or medium of whatever it is you order and they give you a large ? You either get the large at the small or medium price or they take it back. Well, because an MP cannot "take back" the extra time she gave you, I would argue that she's on the hook for it.
In the same spirit, what happens if you ask for a nude massage and out of the goodness of her heart, she gives you a body slide ? Should she expect to be paid for the upgrade ? I don't think so. Could she hope that the fellow would be a gentleman and offer a generous tip ? Sure, why not. Or should she just settle for the price of the nude massage and chalk it up to experience ? Probably.

That's my 2 cents worth on the topic, but because I wrote alot, I'm charging 4 cents.
