The plan is to stop nations from buying oil and natural gas from Russia in order to suffocate the Russian economy and therefore eventually stopping their selfish aggression against other countries. Is that a bad thing? No. Sometimes you need to sacrifice short term, for long term gain. Is Russia working on electrification of automobiles? Not a chance. Their country is stuck in the dark ages. If the West can move forward to renewable energy quickly, Russia will eventually crumble. The sooner, the better.

The evil Donald Drunk Trump's brainwaves were also stuck in the dark ages. He never believed in renewal energy and relied solely on fossil fuels which directly played into the hands of his evil friend, Vladimir Put-In-Bay.
