I do not disagree with your post above, it is your way and is also sensible advice to any newbie.

However, it illustrates that I have not possibly explained myself well enough to you. I don't ask them to come back to my room, they ask me. Always my way of doing things. It is totally flawed as I could get someone who then charges me much more than I am willing to pay, but this has never happened to me.

It could mean I'm chatted up by a girl that I'm not attracted to. That doesn't happen either as I turn up at my pre-chosen bar, there is nearly always one girl who's combined personality, looks, fun etc is great company for the night, remember we are only talking a night not a lifetime. If on the rare occasions there isn't one, then I would eventually move on to my next venue.

Maybe I just fall into your second camp and I'm happy being with people that I find pleasing and fun to be with, and maybe I am not as fussy as you. I say again to me beauty, is not just skin deep, so I never trawl anywhere and desperately seek out a face, I'd rather have gone home alone, but fat chance of that in Phuket.

Anyway no probs, I just detailed my thoughts and past experiences, not trying to convert anyone to copy me, in fact would suggest they don't.

Laugh with you, not at you. We have all been burnt at some seforum.xxxe and I don't think you did any worse than the average newbie (and better than some in not getting aggro etc.)

You were spotted as a newbie and got fleeced - welcome to the club, one of the biggest around. You won't let it happen again and the next set of con attempts won't get past first base - in the long run the little bicth has probably saved you some money - as you said, live and learn ....and even laugh it off......who else but us can say "I couldn't organise a fcuk in a brothhel" and mean it?

I know i have. Last trip there was one girl in a bar on Soi Eric, i walked passed every night and couldn't take my eye's off her, I had never spoken to her, but basically she just did something for me.
I ended up taking her one night after just having the one drink with her and had a great experience, it was just something i had to do and would have regretted if i hadn't.
I can certainly see where you are coming from and agree, but there are occasions when all that goes out the window for me..

Do not act as an ATM. Stick to the business, before you start buying LD for everyone, if you liked the BG after a LD or two, then ask 'I bar fine you, we go boom boom'. once its agreed then go back to treating her like a gf, when talking business, be business like, clear and explicit.

You should have also asked mamasan for refund of BF or a replacement next day. tell mamasan 'me good heart, lady no good service, me no happy' , smile and give hug to mamma san and make sure your cheating lady and her friends can hear

I once saw a FL sitting near the food cart across the road from Tiger Disco, she was looking gloomy and I jokingly said smile up, are you ok, and she welled up, she said she had a long term bf who left last night and she was missing him, i offered her food or a drink from the food cart she was sitting at..........she said no, i anyways ordered two beers from the cart and gave her one, just chit chatted (names, where the bf was), i said do you need a hug (context: talking about her missing bf),........and she melted in my arms then and there, she hugged me as if she has been wating whole her life, all she needed was TLC and human touch and was not planning to a bar or disco but was feeling too lonely......... ended up going to her room after couple more beers from the cart and she gave such a wonderful GFE experience and I kept talking as if she was my gf, she also said thats what she wanted to hear to ease pain.......too bad I could only stay ST even if I wanted more, had my own big boss partner to go back to the nearby resort.....

A lot of newbies go jumping in with the wrong idea about how things work, so a word to the wise

Paying a barfine in Patong does not entitle you to "Bang" a BG.
If it was that simple it wouldn't be illegal now would it?
All it does is buy her time out of the bar.
You still have to agree what you want to do together and for how long which usually includes money BEFORE you go splashing the cash about, and even then no means no.

But don't let this put you off, It's not that difficult to find what you want really.........

I tried once, told mamsan, after few days came across same bar while wandering, bought a drink for mama san, she suggested same girl, I was apprehensive but mama san really convinced me, what the heck I agreed finally (was it the ego) and O boy, she was such a changed person, I had great 5 GFE days with her after that. Saw her few times in Hollywood too and she always wanted to go and when ever I picked her again for the night she was amazing.

Combination of face thingy, demonstrating that you are warm and friendly person (with mama san), you are forgiving but not stupid, not a newbie anymore so please treat properly (not take for ride) .............. kinda mostly-unstated behavior did the trick.

When I was in Patong, I had both BG's and FL's. Had no trouble with either.

What I do,for security reasons, is to organize my valueables before going out.
Pasport, money camera in the safe, laptop stashed out of sight. I hide a couple of extra 500bt notes in some clothes, so if I have spent my nights cash and need money to pay the girl I don't have to go to the safe.

With the money I take for the night, I split it up and put it in different pocket's. So if I do get pickpocketed, I don't loose it all. Never had a problem.

Probably about the best way to make yourself 'unwelcome' in that bar for the foreseable future. I certainly wouldn't want to sit there in an 'atmosphere' I had created myself. Seen it too often. You might as well find a new bar and move on.

Can't remember the last time I saw a mamasan to be honest, never mind had one 'sort' a girl out for me!
