I simplify what Albertaman is saying, it could be just the flu. The mortality rates adjusted based on the initial studies by USC shows that around 4.1% of the a LA county had antibodies, they probably did some random selection and told people to come by and draw on their blood sample. The sample was around 900 people. Based on those people 4.1% had the antibody, meaning they were infected already and healed now. The extrapolate that to larger population to get a more accurate picture of COVID-19 cases, the estimated mortality rate is anywhere between 0.1% to 0.3% which is similar or the same as the seasonal flu.
No medical background but heard the PCR testing kit they use are pretty erroneous, because the COV SARS 2 never met kochs postulate criteria, and the test kit test for genetic material and try to match it to any portion of the COV SARS 2 RNA virus strain.
Early antibody testing suggests COVID-19 infections in L.A. County greatly exceed documented cases
The early results of USC/Los Angeles County antibody testing show a surprising number of residents have been infected with COVID-19.
