I thought this thread was about Farangs and Bargirls. But as what always seems to happen on this forum is that BG morphs into GF. The jury is still out on that debate.

If you prefer a pampering GF experience i think you can get it if you can communicate that to the BG. :rules:

One of my girl-friends was like that, too. I married her, and it was great. I loved the way she treated me. But, she was a bit shy, and lacked confidence in herself, and was dependent on me to make decisions. I gave her a lot of my attention, encouraging her to be more confident, and to pursue her education.

Years later, she became quite accomplished in her field, and matured into a confident, independent, and assertive woman......who didn't have the time to spend taking care of my needs. Then I was doing my own laundry, half the cleaning chores, and preparing my own meals, in addition to doing all the traditional guy's duties. And sex? She didn't seem to have the time for that, either.

I was reminded of the words of Dr. Frankenstein, "I've created a monster!"

Well, it is the farang women here that thoroughly convince me that I do not deserve a pretty girl who will treat me well. When I get to LOS, after 9 months here, my initial reaction is that I don't deserve these young, lovely TGs, and it all seems a bit absurd, and I almost wonder if I shouldn't turn around and go back to the miserable life I "deserve," or, at least, have been convinced that I deserve no better than.

But what happens, and this is why I love LOS, and love TGs, is that they convince me that, in fact, I am thoroughly deserving of their attentions. In life, it is all how you look at things. And I prefer to adopt their point of view in this matter. It may not make all the sense in the world to some, but it sure works for me. Thanks, girls! :love3: I won't argue with them. If they say so, then I DESERVE IT! :yes:

First point - This is where we have to differ... I think you can get a girl that will treat you well but I think some of things that some girls can do is too mothering for my liking. If a girl wants to cook or whatever fine, but maybe I am quite independent and I really don't need a girl to do that. My ex used to ring me up and say what time was I going to be home, what should she cook etc. Some days i was finishing very late so I used to grab a bite to eat on the way home. However, that really upset her because she felt not-needed. This wasn't the case at all. perhaps it was her low confidence as well was playing some part in this. I think a man can be treated well, without the women having to ben to all of his needs every time.

Second point - I can understand this and see why it attracts a lot of men. The women give them there full attention. Actually this is why I am lucky with Jaun because although she is happy to cook and do stuff for me, she also isn't adverse to making her own decisions and doing her own things when she wants to. for instance she doesn't ask me to go out, and for this I am thankful because I hate that question. "Can I go out?" WTF are you asking me for... Do you really think I care if you go out or stay in? Also she was attentive, but she wasn't mothering. This is one thing that really put me off my ex was that at times I was dating my mother rather than someone I wanted to be with. At least, as with my experience with Thai girls go which is very limited, She doesn't always say up to you. Like I have to make every decision for her. This was one worry I had from the start, but it's very rare I hear that. If she was always "up to you" I think I would go back to farang women.

I don't need attention, or someone who does everything for me, just someone who is loving and respects me for being the fat git that i am.

I am inclined to think the same, based on...It tends to suggest that a Thai man wrote this piece, but the OP states his location as Turkey. I suppose he could be a Thai living in Turkey of course. However, if it is a "copy and paste", why not just say where it came from ? No big deal.
