OMG, did I read you correctly, that you are shortly to be going??. Cannot remember through the myriad of posts how long you intended to stay in Patong/Phuket.

If you stay here with the girl, then the amount of money that you will give her on a monthly basis will be nowhere near what she could earn in a bar -- -- and her family will surely be expecting more (as will she after a period of time). Also she will have had friends in the bar who will be making heaps, so after a while she will become disillusioned with the "home life". This happens on a very regular basis.

If however you are aiming to return to Canada, then you will still not be able to pay her enough, so she will return to the bar scene.

Either way, the writing is on the wall, forget about her for now, if you must come back to see her, pay the bar find then spend the night/week and pay accordingly. There will be many more who will steal your heart, or at least attempt to (if not that then surely your wallet).

All the problems and violent outbursts I have seen in Patong in my time, generally involve younger guys. I always imagine this happens because the guy feeds the girl some line of bull, sleeps with her without paying and then butterflies on to a new girl.

Older guys have the wisdom to know they are not paying the girl for sex, they are paying her to go away in the morning. It is in effect a payment to cease all further obligations to the girl outside the P4P scenario.

To young hansum farangs that come over here and think it is all a laugh to play with these girls like that, things can get serious pretty quickly and you may find yourself in an unfortunate situation which ends quite badly.

A number of guys have made this point of how will she be able to send money home, if she sets up house with OMG, and gets a normal job.

On other threads, they say a normal job pays 8K to 12K per month, and sometimes more.

On a current thread in which the OP asks the question, "How much money does a BG send home to her family?", all the guys in the know there in Phuket are saying 1K to 5K per month, depending on how successful she is as a BG, and whether she has kids to support.

So, if this girl makes even only 8K per month in a shop, then she could send 5K(at the high end of the scale) to her folks, and still have 3K for her personal expenses and pocket money, if OMG pays for the house, groceries, and entertainment, as I think any guy normally does.

I have spent time with the girls who have the 11K monthly payments to make on "their" pickup truck, which is in Isaan with their Dad, and they don't even know how to drive, and with the girls who have whined to me that their sponsor is only sending 60K per month, and how can he expect her, her mom, and 2 kids to get by on only 60K? But those are not the kind of girls who would ever go with a guy for free for even one night, or get into a relationship with a farang without a commitment from him to give them a generous monthly allowance.

OP you need to get away from this girl now. You need to pay her for her time so far and you need to pay her a reasonable rate and then you need to not see her ever again. The reason?

By a lot of your comments your too young and of an age where you are too insecure about important relationship issues like trust and life experiences for this thing to ever have a chance of working. You will end up getting hurt and so will she. You said she is 19 and relatively new to the scene so maybe what she says is true but that isnt going to make a diffrence to you in the long run. You will NEVER be able to get over the fact that she was a "working girl" and it will always be in the back of your mind.

Let her go gracefully and move on and get some more life experience under your belt before you even think about trying to have a relationship with "working girl".

Trust me the good old "green eyed monster" that plays around in your head now will go away at some point in the future when you have lived a little more and give you a much better understanding of women and perhaps even a good chance at a relationship with a former BG if that is what crosses your path.
