Pubs in Britain are dying off quicker than pensioners in a 1950`s winter. With the smoking ban (in our climate smokers freeze their bollocks off outside) and cheap beer in the supermarkets, peeps drink at home. Consequently, alcohol consumption is going up.

It only happens in one soi in Patong (Soi Sea Dragon) and only a small number of gogo's at that.

The only rip off place I know of in Pattaya is the Eastern European club on Walking Street that has Western girls dancing. The drinks inside are a rip off (apparantly). Last time I was there, sexy looking blondes were handing out vouchers of some sort to unaware tourists and they were actually targetting couples.

In all my time to SW and CG I have never been accosted by a tout,doorman or been over charged for a drink.The lady drinks in there are cheaper than in Tiger complex.There are several other places in Sea Dragon that do rip people off and they should be avoided.:arf:

Correct...but all the touts are in Bangla Road and they will start annoying you as far up as across from the Rock Hard. I've seen them walk "victims" from there all the way down into Soi Seadragon. Sometimes feel like warning the people what's going to happen but best not to get involved and upset the touts!

Not correct. Went to "Money night" yesterday. It is in the soi where Roxy is. Three guys at the entrance showed me the usual 500 for a beer. Said no... then they showed me another list 300 for a beer.
Said no, turned around, thought again and entered asking pricelist inside. Beer 120, Black 150.
About same show as BNC, also with shower. Old mamasan and a dancer from BNC working there.

Yeah a carton of Crowne is about $45 in First Choice. Same with Hieneken, which works out about 52 Baht a bottle. Mind you in the pub a bottle of either will set you back $8 or roughly 225 Baht. Oh and with that you get the pleasure of either 20 stone fellows or 15 stone women. :intello:
Now compare that to MBT with 80 Baht and the company of some BG's.

Shit its a hard choice, especially with Air Asia flights running at about $320 return. Oh and its bloody freezing here in Perth, just like a summers day in Ireland.
