Any more stock picks?
I’ve had several people message me and I’ve told everyone the same thing. LA.V is still my #1 high conviction pick for this year (it’s my top individual holding). Yes, it’s had a good run in past months, but it still remains undervalued vs peers; and as well with the ongoing successful drilling, the property is only looking more attractive. I’m still calling for $40-$50 this year based on an M&A exit which the CEO has been clear is what he wants - this type of tier 1 property will not go long before partnering with a major. My broker is sending me an up to date report from Cantor which I will share later for more reference.
For the broader markets, I’m bullish on tech (FAANG), semiconductors, industrials, metals (precious and base) and materials; both growth and value stocks will do well in months ahead (catalysts: rates not going up as much as street expects; pandemic ending will unleash massive consumer spending). For these sectors, I like SMH, VTWO, ARKK, XGD/GDX, VGT/XLK, IYM as diversified ETF bets vs individual names. These are sectors most retail investors are shunning now which is exactly why I have been buying.
