Cochilco raises 2022 copper price forecast to $4.40/lb

For 2023, Cochilco projected a price of $3.95 per pound, up from $3.80 in January.

Capstone may be a better copper play. They actually have working mines in Chile as well as Mexico and Arizona with proven reserves.

Capstone’s a good play. More upside potential IMO from Los Andes as is expected given its at exploration stage. Take a look at FILO as well in past year - that’s the potential for finding the right company with the right assets.

ABX - $31.79
FR - $17.94
AEM - $83.01
PAAS - $37.69

These are all big caps -- based on my belief that gold/silver prices are headed for a big run this year, I expect these names to do well.

Only the beginning- lots of upside for precious metals to come in months ahead.

With the down day it was a good day to buy back some covered calls for around half of what I sold them at. Will watch for an up day to resell them again..

Broader markets have been in correction these past weeks, but LA.V has held its own - good sign.

WCE is drilling a well on its property near Provost Alberta this month. Adjacent wells are pumping around 8K bop, so there is a lot of optimism on the prospects for this one. They have seismic data, so they are pretty sure they can get something economical out of the ground. Stock closed today at 35cents. I recommended it at 30 a few weeks ago. Still time to get it. How do you like your $110 barrel of oil now?

Gold has to rise a lot in this inflationary economy, for any of the gold miners to make money. Its very expensive for exploration plays right now.

Agreed. They’ve simply been going through a correction — investors are reacting to higher interest rates and a strengthening US dollar as well as the Federal Reserve continuing to tighten.

IMO - New highs coming for precious metals this year - miners will do well.
