From my perspective the times are changing when it comes to the Spa scene. On the business side Supply has exceeded Demand and we are are the down side of the Bell curve. In Markham there are way too many places that I would describe as Semi Legit.......some good and some not so good. Major intersections have signs shoved into the grass offering low ball prices. Just yesterday I saw one that offered a 30 minute massage for $19.99. What does that tell you? Places that I have some intel on are only getting a handful of customers per day and are struggling to stay afloat. The granny and milf places are not going to survive and will disappear, they just can't get new young talent. I think in the future someone will go to a Legit or Rmt massage place for a solid massage. If someone are looking for something more they will likely visit a place like QQ Square.
Young ladies that want to make a lot of money in a short time will work at places like QQ, make their money and disappear.

They will not tell you we are already in a recession since June; Some big banks already call it a technical recession; whatever the fuk that means. Restaurants, retails and all other business activity indicators, including escort agencies and massage parlors are already suffering. Past the coming holiday season, around Jan/feb, 2024, they will finally admit that we have entered into a recession; But they will blame it on current ongoing events in middle east.

As for the pussy industry, supply will soon overrun demand, more SP/MP girls entering the market, while demand continues to dry up. A severe decline in price will follow across the board. Already, most Indy's are coming back to agencies; and agencies are offering promos.

As far as North America goes, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are kind of a bubble. We got it good here. Unless you are talking street girls, our neighbours to the south pay through the nose.

As for the local scene, the economy and immigration will always be the two biggest determinants. No one can tell the future, and it's always possible that some Emanuel Jacques style incident could lead to a crackdown, but barring that, our society will tolerate the biz and there's certainly money to be made.

Some observations:

- The pent-up demand from the pandemic days has long since dissipated. The influx of new/returning girls over the last 9-12 months means that supply has now outstripped demand.
- Along the same lines, the tip bump the attendants put in place a year or so ago is now working against them in these uncertain times. This decreases demand even more.
- The cross-section of (non-AMP) attendants has shifted to favour the fake boobs/ass/nails/eyelashes tatted gangsta style. There seems to be less variety than there used to be.

Having said all that, this is not really new. There's always been an ebb and flow. Spa's that used to be on the top of the heap with the top talent and premium pricing are struggling for the same shrinking hobby dollar like all the rest.

Announcement of recession will do nothing. If enough guys just cut down the frequency of their visits that may help bring down prices. So long as supply stays strong.
