I have no argument with your theory and it is exceptions that make the rule.
And yes, I am generous with girls I like but I do not see MY idea of 'a better life' or 'improving themselves' as neccesarily their idea too.
Each one is different but, and its generalising, G is correct when he says that they are happier in the villages amongst friends and kin, thats their culture.
Worth pointing out that my GF currently works a 16+ hour day 7 days a week and does not have cash thrown at hjer, she has profit! Does not cost me anything.
As for showing the girls a 'better alternative', you cannot do that unless you approach it from a Thai cultural standpoint, something most westerners cannot do, me included. You seem to be with an exception but, that does not make G's theory (or yours) wrong.
Like you say, all are different but there is too much baggage out there for us to ignore or dismisss ars irrelevant.
