I have only ben to Patong once and that was recently.The thing that happened here was pretty obvious. She saw you buying drinks for people in her way she thinks you are just dumb farang with no brains and too much money. You offer to take her for food which she obliges (free meal) it only cost you 500 baht for goodness sake. If you want to shag her just ask how much for S/T l/T If she doesnt want to she will quote a high price or tell you she has her period. It really is that simple. I had a thing for a freshie just off the bus in one of the bars i got the she has her period thing told to me from the bar lady as the girl could hardly speak a word of english. Cool I said then 2 of the other dancers were on me like a seagull onto a chip. They weren't my type so i gave the hottie a tip and left. Drank there a few other times and always said Hi and waved. There are times when your not their type. Same Same.

Long time reader, first time poster.
A bit of a spiel about myself; i've being going to Thailand, since the early eighties and still love the place.
I'm married to a Thai, and count my blessings every day, as she is fantastic.


Norflondon, i'd be tempted to go to the bar next door for the next few nights, pick out a nice little luvlee, buy her a few drinks, and generally spend some money there. It'll annoy the girl and the bar owner.

Not every girl that work in the beerbars are prostitutes!
Some only help out at the bar maybe work as cashiers, some might be relatives or even daughters of the owners and only help out during schools and unis summer holidays!
What I understand the girls in Patong must be at least 20 to go with customers for sex as well?
