No, no, I really did mean "down 500", not "down to 500". Crikey! No I just supposed that if the rate went from 1000 to 2000 overnight, someone missed the call on 1500, which would then seem a reasonable enough price.
But my basic question is still, if you "haggle" are you then being a cheap charlie (read: sensible but unnecessarily careful with your cash - as according to a BG's opinion)? I mean having no experience at all with this concept, it strikes me as slightly odd to discuss price with a girl, when she still costs a 10th of what the same would cost back home? How do BG's, in your experience, react to discussing the price?
Just a thought, but I would think yes, the previous poster is correct. The influx of newbies probably does drive up prices, simply because we are so worried about not showing disrespect or loosing face, that we agree to a certain price the BG lays out without discussion. I myself, had I not found this forum, would gladly have paid 2000 or 2500 not knowing what was right, wrong, the norm, cheap or expensive. How would or could I know what the going rate is?
And while I will gladly haggle for the price a tourist gift, a jacket or a suit, I would, as a stranger to LOS, find it really really distasteful haggling over the price of sexual favours. So yes, the newbies who do not have the good fortune to know this excellent forum, probably do drive up prices out of sheer ignorance and respect.
BTW, thanks for the forum guys!!!!!
