Hmm, what I was trying to say, was that if enough people insisted on 1000 baht as maximum, that would remain the norm. On the other hand, if enough people feel that any amount is OK, than that too will become the norm. If anyone asks more, just laugh, and say 1000 is the limit. Get your friends to do the same.

I don't fit into this discussion too well, but I would never, under any circumstances, no matter what, go over 1000. Never have, never will. If one person won't accept 1000, there are many more who gladly will, and most of the time they've been wonderful people. I don't post here much, but I've read a lot over the years, and been there more than enough times to know what's going on. Go read "Money Number One", which will change your entire outlook on things.

As no one seemed to answer your question mate, I found it to stay about the same! I didn't pay more than 1.5k Long time last month!

One girl in Tiger wanted 3k (the one I was talking to when we were being stalked!!!!).... I laughed and walked away! Well we virtually ran out ha ha..

Yeah, it's called "common sense". Do you buy your tickets to Thailand at the full fare, or do you look for the easily available discounted prices? Both get you there. If you want to pay more than you have to, that's your business. If it makes you happy, great! Most people's "piggy bank" have a finite size. I know mine does. Lots or people here have said that 1000 is the right price. I suppose I could pay 6000 for a taxi from the airport too, instead of 600, but why? On the other hand, if you REALLY want to give someone more, do it as a tip.

Well, I wouldn't worry too much. My experience was always (across different countries), whenever the girl is "really strict"
about the price, she would make it definately clear enough by herself beforehand.

Girls who don't talk about it too much, so far always have been happy and relaxed with what they get...it's up to you whether

I have however let go girls in the middle of the night with only pocket money for the taxi for various other reasons.

maybe i was misunderstood, i didn't say i went with the girls that were asking 4 to 5k. just ask and moved on. in some of my early trips to los i was of the belief that you get what you pay for, thus the expensive girls were better in bed. took a couple times before i saw the error of my ways.

when i am in los i am looking for someone who i can communicate with. even if there english is not that great there is usually something that makes me want to sit an talk for a moment. i usually don't try to bargin with these girls because i have no problem paying 60usd for an overnite that i really enjoy. it is more expensive to just take a girl out for dinner and a movie in the states.

2k was the average, went with several that were 1500 so as mentioned before different prices for different places.

and also, after being in rehab and celibate for four months, i really don't fell like trying to bargin for what is basically a fantasy.

Guess you need to be more of a charmer ☺. During my stay (last two weeks of March) bar was 300, girl 1,000 to 1,500 max. The first night cost was nothing, as we both fell asleep before the deed was done and didn’t have time in the morning, as her mother called stating that her brother needed a ride home from school or something. Seems odd that Thai mothers have such deep voice and speak such good english?
