Beer was dirt cheap in Cambo and Vietnam, the standard price anywhere was about 30 to 40 Bath. In stalls and on the street a lot cheaper, it depends on where you are.

Re: the touts...it's not SW that is the problem I believe...it's CG where they are still plying their trade or they certainly were a few months ago when some people I know got hit for 600baht per beer there. RAW has offered a bottle of spirits to anyone who proves they are still doing it there. I'm willing to try earning it when I get back unless you get in first Simbo!

At that time I was NOT in SW,S.

I was in Crazy Girls. I am not talking about a third person I am talking about MY OWN experience of what occurred. It happened to me.

Sorry but its factual and true.

What is funny about that night was after leaving Crazy Girls because of what happened we ended up by going to SW,S.

We had such a good night there with the girls that we stayed until it closed !!

The following day I mentioned to my friend about the events of that night and it was only then that I found out that the two places were connected.

I will go again to SW,S no problem. Crazy Girls ????? No way.

If you ask you'll find all the ladies live in houses provided by Jeffrey right out at Chalong or near Tesco/Lotus...hence the 500baht to Mamasan every time they stay "out all night". So be aware you may have to get your catch for the night back to Chalong in the morning but Mamasan does spend her time in the early hours going round picking some of them up so some LT's get cut short. So a friend told me last time he took one from there...Mamasan was on the phone at 0530 to her and the little lady was up and out the door at 0600

it seems ok to say negative things (scams, ripoffs,overpricing, theft etc) about some bars & hotels , but when it comes to certain businesess that are owned by BM's, it cant be true, no way would this happen. & then get told it will will deleted,
god forbid if any one said something negative about a well known bar on this forum located down soi eric.

i've go Suzie W. everytime i'am in Patong always had a good time , never been overcharged 4 a drink & staff always good inside & the doorman/doorwoman outside very welcoming,
will be back there at SW on my next LOS trip & at MTB most nights

Never had a tout problem at Suzies but Jeffrey - chill out man

I have however often turned into Soi Seadragon of my own accord on my way to SW only to have a tout skip ahead of me ready to claim his fee. I usually walk between the bars a few times or stop dead in the street until he gets the message.
